Story Behind A Girl and A Guy

This is no cinderella story, although I wish it had been. This is the sad truth of what Love has, and can turn into.

A girl and a guy walk into a room

Their eyes meet

A flicker sparks the room

A feeling develops deep within

A feeling that makes, or breaks the people it is effecting.

Some relationships are true and real,

But sadly most high school romances are not that kind of deal.

Like what was said before, a guy and a girl meet,

their hearts flutter and sparks a feeling

This may stay silent,

Or could turn into an uncontrollable heat.

All depends, but one thing is for sure

Girls are blind, and guys put on a show

Girls are blind,

or at least stay that way.

They say it's for love,

but it's for other reasons they'd rather hide away.

Guys put on shows,

place a mask upon their face.

a skip in their step,

say "Hey beautiful" and vuella,

you're all scooped up in their poorly preformed act

Girls blind themselves from the truth.

They see the a guy

pull and pry at the traits they like,

then ignore the parts they don't.

They stay blind to ALL of the guy,

of who is truly inside.

Guys put on plays that are not very good

it is easy to see past them, the girl knows she should.

But she doesn't.

She stays silent and quiet of who she knows he is

She expresses 'love' for the parts she wished were ONLY there.

Girls play along with the act that the guy display.

She pretends as if she can't see straight through his lying and false face.

So why do we do it?

Maybe for attention, or some sense of love,

We will never truly know,

But this kind of 'love' does take its toll.
