Illusions

Illusions

A Poem by Blake McGarrah
"

Look out for lies

"
Some people hate you, some people praise you, some know you're there but just don't acknowledge you. Some people love you will help you out all the time, if you were ever in danger they'd lay their life on the line. But theres those who despise you, when your names brought up they're filled with disgust. But you might not know who these people are because most of them don't have the guts. Behind your back they're talking crap plotting your downfall, but in front of you they act friendly try to play it cool like they love you and your family. You may be talking to someone but you're facing a mask of lies, they hide behind a fake smile and wish for your demise. So be careful who you talk to, share all your secrets with be wiser than snow white was, don't fall for the witches tricks. The outside may look nice, looks don't scratch the surface of whats hidden deep inside. For some people are illusions who you may think you know, but you may soon find out all you thought you knew was lies.
