Breathe (poem...for now - 2013)

This does have a vocal melody but it's not completed so I just wanted some feedback on weather is should stay as a poem or if I should make it a song

Breathe

Take a minute to stop what you’re doing

Stop all the thoughts that you’re thinking

They’re just deceiving

What’s right in front of you

Plant your feet firm on the concrete

Close your eyes, stand still and count to three

With me, let’s see

How long it takes you to feel the air

To feel like you’re alive

Again and for the first time

To feel like you can see

More than the black and white imagery

When reality is complicated

And you’re faith gets a little shaken

Just stop, stand still

And breathe

And breathe

And breathe
