Pill by pill

Minutes go by

Settling in the nerves

Mind blurry

Everything feels good.....

Drink by drink

I see blue animals

And fishes swimming in midair

Everything feels good......

Heartbeat increases

I can hear it

Puke rising up

But I force it down with more pills

Everyday feels like I'm floating

Floating far away, enough I can feel you so near

God, I've missed you

Feeling pressure rising

Everything just feels good.....

More drinks, more pills, more thoughts of you

Feeling weak, about to die

Everything, everything, feels just good.....

I really don't like this poem....but it's something that kept me busy......

Nicely written, well penned. Lovely piece of writing. I'm not sure why you don't like it, unless it is because it is a dark piece. It comes from a dark place in the soul that we often keep hidden, reminds me of an addiction. XX
