Immortal Soul

I sit here and wonder why my life is so lost
Why blood all of a sudden roll down my eyes
Why I feel a sharp broken pain inside
I listen to the wind, as it blows across my ears
Whispering words of hope as it passes by
I look down at my hands and cry some more of what I have done
The eyes of my dead soul mate looks up at me
All cold, and full of sorrow
People still stand behind me, making small prayers for my lost
I've stolen his soul and put it in a precious pearl
I wrap it around my neck, forever he will be with me
All of this was for his sake and nothing more
Now, I watch the days pass by, and I'm sitting here, alone
I look down at the pearl and kiss it as I remember the day I've stolen it
I lost my past and don't care about the future
The present is where I live and I live in a world full of pain and darkness
This is where I choose to be and this is why I had to get his soul
It's a whole different reason and I thought it was worth it
I know now it isn't and never gonna be, I lost my love and never will I see him again
I begin to close my eyes and hope to die in all of my guilt and pain I have inside
