In The Eyes of a Perfectionist

In The Eyes of a Perfectionist

A Poem by Blossom
"

Not sure how I feel about this one, but enjoy

"
Constantly double-checking my work
Ensuring everything is correct
Hoping to get a perfect mark
Waiting for the caffeine to take effect

Staying up all night
Rewriting essays
Make sure every sentence is right
Double-checking each phrase

Feeling as though everyone knows my mistakes
Feeling as though they’re judging me
So I avoid taking breaks
To make sure everyone can agree that my work is as perfect as can be

Oh... I sure do know that feeling! As if all of your possible mistakes are highlighted in Red even though they are not , the need to double or triple check everything, saying that you'll take a break even though deep down inside you know you won't! Welcome to the realities of college/school life in general! I could so relate to this one, thanks for sharing!
