Life Without Life

Life Without Life

A Poem by Blue-Eyes

It is not easy to live in a world,

With hatred and pain and suffering.

Only you don't live in the world,

You are here to live in her world.

How can one have an innocent and healthy life,

When living with this sin.

This sin which cuts down our wings,

Breaks our halos like delicate ice underfoot.

Keeping ones mind alive is a difficult task,

When it is forced to stay dull.

Reigned in like wild horses,

Flightless bird-wings clipped-hope gone.

Torn down from our prime,

Like an angel cast down from heaven.

Clawing your way out of hell with nowhere to go,

This is a life without life.

About
I enjoy writing, mostly poetry but I do try to write short stories as well. In all honestly I have lost touch with my writing, life got in the way, but I'm trying to get back to it, and hopefully this.. more..
