From Large to Small

From the tallest tree
to a blade of grass
snow capped mountains
and drops of dew
both large and small
she surrounds us all
in the sky
the rocks
fish and birds
vast oceans
and deserts dry
there are times
when her injuries
bring tears to my eyes.
I love this Earth
with all my heart
and even the people
who would tear her apart.
