The Tongue Stealer

The Tongue Stealer

A Poem by Bobisnotmyuncle
"

Be careful out there. The Tongue Stealer wasn't birthed out of thin air, you know. It was harnessed to grow in strength. Don't even trust your dad.

"
Tongue stealer, tongue stealer, come out and play

The day is here to take some lives away

First there were few

Then there were more

You make me do things that I don't adore

If the dead climb higher than cliffs

The thought of you off of it makes me stiff

My muscles seize, and my mind is consumed

With my grandiose desires, my soul exhumed

You rip me apart

To make me fly high

and morph my body into something

That I cannot comprehend

But aware of all of the pain and bloodshed

Please, please, please just kill me already

Before my mind is lost to the spiral of spaghetti

Tongue stealer, tongue stealer, come out and play

The days are here to take some lives away

First there were few

Then there were more

The world is ready for you

To conquer us all

This is just a fun, "prelude", to a story I have been conjuring. Will it be bad? Yes, mostly. But, if the opposite of good is just that, then bad is what my heart is best at.

You're crazy. It's good writing none the less. There's a couple lines here that are hilarious and also memorable. The cliff/stiff line, ha, that one had me, that's funny s**t right there. It's a good poem overall. Well done.
