A Fall From A High Horse

A Fall From A High Horse

A Poem by Bonnie Masters
"

again just another little quick one written in a lapse of lunacy, comment, rate, judge, throw into dante's inferno, let me know what you think.

"
Are you falling down
further and more than ever
Following your crown
to which you're obscenely tethered.

And if you'd let it drown
would your heart stop too?
would your lungs fill with a sound?
what would you really do?

When the fall hits you
when the oceans rise
they meet you blow for blow

Release the crown

Just let it go.
