Remember when we used to sit together every day?

We didn't even care what anyone would say

actually, I'll never know

but that's just because you had to go

it was just something I could never see

I told you no, goodbye

but I wish I ever knew why

your eyes are a beautiful blue

they shoulda told me your words were true

I didn't tell myself what I really felt

but every time I saw you, I would melt

so by the time I knew I felt the same way

you left me, the very same day.

There was a time when I wished friends was enough

and then came a time, when things got tough

when you loved me, I denied it

when I loved you, out you went

I remember when you picked me up and twirled me around

my mind spun too, round and round

you called my name and ran my way

and then there's one thing you would say

I love you

well, I loved you, too.

I think I still do

But my only regret

is not telling you,

not yet.
