Letter to a Graduating Senior

Letter to a Graduating Senior

A Poem by Yue Zhang

How long has it been since I've met you?
Short enough to want to know you better
but long enough to never let you go.
When we part, we might never meet again
in this life time
the time I've spent with you has been invaluable.
Us humans only live for a hundred years,
and to have been able to meet you
has been a wonderful gift, giving lasting memories.
I hope the night will bleed stars for you to wish upon,
and life will handle you gently.
I wish you all the best, and know
that I will always be waiting for your news,
be it five years or fifty.
Good luck, and keep in touch.

YOU START THIS WITH A QUESTION...AND THEN SEND THIS OFF IN A UNORTHODOX STYLE OF A READ TO THE AUDIENCE...TAKING A TRIP IN TIME AND THEN COMING BACK AGAIN IN THE LINES...AND SAY ADO WITH A VAGUE NARRATIVE OF A GOODBYE...
