Not This World

This is a poem written by me. In this poem, poet is praying to some power to take him out of the world we live in and place him somewhere, where there is peace and no conflicts.

Take me to something new,
Something unknown but safe;
For this is not where I belong
Please place me among the stars
So that, I can see you,
Staring at me!

I developed the eyes of fire,
When I saw the 'Unsuccessful Us'
Those eyes took me somewhere,
Place which is out of reach
Because, Not this world impresses me,
Not this world's where I want to be!

Some are enemies,
Some are friends;
But, I never was the one in these matters
Because, I lay somewhere,
Beyond imagination, it's my place
And of course, it's not this world!

It's upto my imagination,
Where would it take me,
But I beg them
For my only desire,
Anywhere! But not this world;
