this is extroidinairily good, what you have conveyed in just a few words....it leaves me utterly speechless. this reminds me of one of hemingway's peices, not in topic of course but simply the sucinct way that such an emotional tale is told. you should read some of his stuff if you don't understand what i mean. keep writing stuff like this!

Well, that's what you get for not making the essay section of the test open book. It is, as Mr. Ownby notes, quite stark, and certainly spare--but not spare to the point of making the piece inaccessible, for it's very visual. It does a lot with very few words; it's a nicely done piece.
