American Dream or American Scheme?

I know when times get tough it's easy to lose your patience,
Don't know whether to cry sometimes or swing your fist at faces,
But face it, everybody has problems across the nation,
Like mass shootings, crooked cops, riots and race relations,
cops shooting jay-walkers when they shouldn't have even maced them,
Or like All across the globe they're fearing an invasion,
It's amazing, We're microscopic in the grand scheme,
We become myopic Cyclopes' tearing us all up by the damn seams,
It's so bad I want to scream, we're doomed unless there's illumination,
Try suicide, but Too many screws loose your head'll pop off as soon as the noose is straightened,
But if you choose to face it, relationships 90% communication,
Silence is one source of divorce, and another is stagnation,
We're heading to damnation if the majority won't adjust our priorities,
I'm calling us all out, especially the authorities,
Honestly Do your job, but stop profiling the minorities,
But horribly, instead of a rally or reacting responsibly,
People are killing cops, this is a monstrosity!
All Lives Matter-- instead of a hashtag, begin with an apology,
I don't just mean cops, that would be hypocrisy,
But to make a difference you have to go about it consciously,
But that's just my philosophy, so You don't have to follow me,
But what piqued my curiosity was: how with such leaps in technology,
Animosity is spread instead of kindness and generosity,
I guess they teach it, their nature to nurture inequality,
Racism is taught, I fear this generation's prophecy-
We have Cops watching us, who's watching the cops?
Better yet, who's watching the authority at the top?
Its all a crock of s**t,
There's no checks and balances, they strip us of our rights and theres nobody powerful enough to challenge it,
And the government's true nature is to control the newspaper,
Get elected off of empty promises
Knowing we'll get screwed later,
And its overdue to say that
They're the true traitors in this American Scheme!
