Reality

Reality

A Poem by Light
"

This is not about an actual woman...possibly.....more of a conceptualized idea!

"
Reality (November 2010)
Uneventful days pass away
And I question existence
With nothing to say.
For words can't exchange
Breath with eternity's lips
And soliloquies shan't dare
Caress reality's dainty hips.
I experience existence
As a fleeting woman;
Seductively succulent eyes
Turning most mortals blind
Begging me, silently,
To stay for just a while and
Breathe light into darkness
As I spread my creator's gift
Directly from my lover's lips;
Ambrosia covered bliss
That brings esse into the fade.
Then she suddenly walks away
With not a word to say.
Oh, my gorgeous love,
Fickle and wanton knave.
Let me be, sweet reality
For I no longer want a taste.

Great writing here. Love the aliteration in places and how this just flows together... I didn't know 'shalln't' was a word...what about "shan't"?
I was going to pick a favourite line or part but I read it again and can't! It is all so lovely - really great work
