The Summer

The Summer

A Poem by BreannaAutumn

Her eyes were fierce and vividly wild
She held her head high
and hardly ever smiled
but when she did
it was what made my heart melt
And even though she hadn't seen,
I was in dire need of her help
She kissed away my fears
and made me feel real
She saw through my lies
and showed me how to heal
She pursued nothing more
than the pit of my heart
little did she know her own
was a work of art
She gathered her things
without a single word
She left for the week
and what was left of the summer
As the crowd died away
the image of her turned to fade
And just like that she died away
i tried to save her but
she couldn't see
She had to love herself before
she loved me

Very deep write but before you can love someone you must love who you are first to express love so honestly I'm seeking the friendship of good writers like yourself to read and remark on my poetry as art. Your are very good what I seen so far.
