Movies That You'll Never See (Scene 38)

A Story by Brett Hernan

His wife was irate by this point,

"Every single time that guy shows up he's driving in a different car! Explain that!"

"I think he's part owner of a car yard."

"What with a hairstyle like that? It looks like someone cut his hair with their eyes shut. And why when he comes around here is he always offering me all different types of drugs?"

"That's friendly. Maybe he's just being generous."

"...okay, I am prepared to concede that he might be slightly crooked but I know he's not completely without ethics. Look, he's here's an example; this rich kid offered to buy a large amount of acid tabs from him and the kid went to give him the money 2500 bucks right at the beginning of the deal. Well, they didn't even know each other and Lance pushes back the money and says to the kid,

"Hey man, No! No! No!" he said,

"You don't give me the money up front, man you should never do that, ever, when you're making a drug deal! It's the surest way to get ripped off!"

   Whilst this tale is being recounted there is a visual record of these events as they actually and truly occurred, all of which follows the auditory script, precisely, right up to the part where the money is put into the dealer's hand, at which the deviation is that he smiles sideways at the kid and then we see the dealer dragging a very heavy suitcase to the edge of a bridge at night.

There is a picture of a flier being stuck to a power pole with the kid's picture on it.

He even said to me once;

"It's harder to get easy money than it is to do hard work and earn it."

Not that he knew what hard work was.
