Hearts of the Path

Hearts of the Path

A Poem by Brett Hernan
"

This the second draft.

"
Lover's initial
filled hearts,
crossed
and by cupid's arrow
pierced.
Written on,
once wet,
but,
now, old,
(direction
bearing),
foot-path, pavement,
concrete.
Often,
may as well
be blank.
