Crazy Horse

Crazy Horse

A Poem by Brett Hernan

Two teenage kid lovers,
unhooking their shoes,
adhesive, ne'er been washed carpet.
Running up the stairs.

Out!

Inner city street,
now,
much cleaner.

They joined hands.
Attempt
to extinguish
result
of intrigue, leading
them to escape
the,
'Crazy Horse Sex Shop'.

So,
as to see,
"What could
possibly be,
'For Sale'?"

Walking away
quickly having seen
that which
they had
only known,
previously,
as free.
