Fairies of The Night

Fairies of The Night

A Poem by Briege Havern

In the darkness of the night

 When the stars twinkle bright

And the moon casts its light

 Across the sleepy lands

 Little creatures come into sight

With their delicate wings they take flight

Their laughter a sound of pure delight

As they soar above our skies

For every child that a nightmare holds tight

They sprinkle their dust to make things right

This is the only fight they fight

They are the Fairies of the Night
