What AM I Doing?

What AM I Doing?

A Poem by Southern Angel

Damn,
What am I doing?
First it’s one
Then it’s two
Next it’s three
Every four hours
Damn,
What am I Doing?
I’m taking them
To forget it all
But it only helps
For a little while
Then it starts
Over & forever
It goes on

I don't like any kind of medicine. I try to use the natural cures. Pills can blind you. Few pills can help you. Easy to fall to drugs and booze. The poem tells a real story. Many need the pills to be able to get out of bed and face the world. That is a sad and hard life. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

A glimpse into addiction, the uge that grabs you and will not let go. You can question it all you want, tell yourself you want to stop, but you just can't. You just can't and you need it so bad. Well done.

regards,

Matthew
