![]() The Skinny GameA Poem by Alyssa![]() Anorexia is a hell of a disease.![]() This
filthy pig, I know what to do I’ll
trick her, make her think she grew She’s
not that big, but she sure isn’t small Let’s
see if I can win it all First
I’ll get inside her head I’ll
whisper thoughts and words unsaid I make
her think she’s much too fat And my
girl will just have none of that Next I
give her a fiery heart To
slowly pick her brain apart I’ll
give reward, a few pounds lost But this
small fortune has a higher cost Her few
pounds shed will become much more But
she’s come too far, so she will ignore So she gets
even worse, my special treat To
slowly gain her true defeat Soon
she’s so thin, people will start to fear She says
she’s better, a whole new year! But I
like to hide, my favorite game So I can
creep back into her guilt and shame We’re
again together, and I watch her fall back And my
plan stays on its perfect track So
addicted, she mistakes me as friend As I
wait and watch her life to end. She
struggles once more, a worthless crawl But
she’s so weak I can take it all I finish
her off, a sorry sin Thanks
for playing, but I think I win. © 2013 AlyssaFeatured Review
