Lonely Without You

Lonely Without You

A Poem by Brian's Soul

Lonely Without You

Finally took when you stopped caring what matter in life.
Thinking how much it hurts when you don't care as much as I do.
All because of words whispered in your ears.

Ideas that aren't true.

Not being able to communicate what is on your mind is driving me crazy.
Twisting my heart like a pretzal.
To much on me bring me down.
Where
it's lonely without you.

That is a pain one could never get over.
Loosing a friend, that makes life worth while.
Is hard because my love that is alive in my heart.
You and I not having the time together, like we used too.

How do we go from friends to strangers.
When we were laughing, hugging and sharing good time.

Then the next not talking as we crumble down around us.

All over a mistaken email, that has me struggling to come back to myself.
Wanting our friendship to continuing but without you, it's lonely.
Not having my best friend with me it's dark.

Trying to move from one day to the next.
A struggle but I'll survive because i have too for myself.
When everything is settled and the waves have calm.
We will find each other again.

When the waves have calmed, we will find each other again... yes, yes. I posted a couple of parallel universe poems here (Chance Encounters and Parallel Lives) - you might enjoy one or both. Hard to imagine someone with your proclaimed talents being on the outs in this and the other poem I read (or maybe that's part of the gift/curse). Keep writing.
