The intensity of You

The intensity of You

A Poem by Brittney

Pigments of a painting dedicated to the hint of color in your skin

A picture speaks a thousand words but yours screams a million

Your eyes they mimick glass, fragil and breakable from just a touch

But your heart mimicks fire burning hot enough to melt the sun

A picture paints a thousand words but your writing paints a thousand pictures.

Oh beware the blue-eyed demons and their power to enchant. I really liked this one and the finish was very strong.

But your heart mimicks fire burning hot enough to melt the sun

Marilyn Monroe? Or some of the like?

I like how you add fire to each line... you give us the reader a focus point and then clarify even more with an explanation... and befits the title and the emphasis you want to convey in the verse....

Lovely piece I love the passion you have in these thoughts. Who were you thinking about?
