My Saviour

My Saviour

A Poem by Hidden Nightmares

I walk with my head held down.

On my face I wear a frown.

They ask me if I’m okay.

I say “I’m fine” and walk away.

They never pushed it further.

Then one day I met HER.

She said “no you’re not.”

And it was her that gave me hope.

These words do indeed engender hope. Having that one, who can see beyond the mask and simply know what's wrong is a blessing. I really liked how this piece came across thoughtfully, but with great power. Awesome Ink!
