I miss you.

Like, the flowers miss the rain, 

On a scorching hot day.

Like, i miss hearing you say my name, 

Just because it took my breath away.

I miss you.

Like, an adult misses the past, 

And wishes their childhood didn't go so fast.

Like, my body misses your touch, 

And that insane adrenaline rush.

Ahh, those last two lines really got into me. "Adrenaline rush", indeed, girl. I missed that. Uhm? Is it necessary to put a comma after the word "like"? Is it intentional to convey a pause in thought? Just wondering...
