Society needs to change

It needs to grow up

It needs to stop looking at me like I am strange

And it needs to understand that I am not a mix-up

Society needs to grow

It needs to mature

It needs to stop judging me for loving the rainbow

And it needs to understand that I don’t need a cure

Society needs to disappear

It needs a reevaluation

It needs to stop nagging others for being queer

And it needs to understand that America is not a place for its dictation
