Spilled Wine

Spilled Wine

A Poem by BrynnaW.

Today, I dance in a burgundy dress,

Though earlier that day you thought I was a mess.

A smile crowned by my red lips,

Forgets the past with the rhythm of my hips.

Tomorrow, the carpet will be stained by wine,

Only to pretend it’s all fine.

Tears will reflect in the broken glass,

And abandoned upon the ground, a ring of brass.

Forever, I will dance in your mind,

A dress the color of wine does bind.

You see tears that maul my beauty,

But still I spin for you like it’s my duty.

The first two stanzas are fine. The last could use some work. Still a worthy read.

I still love your writing Brynna. It is beautifull in its simplicity
