Life is a Challenge

Accepting challenges...

Like a race no one can win
The only challenge is to finish it.
The hurtles when it begins
Makes it harder to see the end of it.
Like a class that never ends,
With many lessons to be learned.
Mysterious is the instructor
Showing how the grades were earned
Many dreams become nightmares
So many restful nights are lost
The challenge of living life,
And disregarding the cost.
The pursuit of happiness,
In a world of anger and pain
Searching for reality
Amongst illusions of the brain.
How many children became the parents to the ones that gave them birth?
How can you think to meet a challenge, if you don't understand it first?
So many problems to encounter,
And one solution for them all.
When will children learn the lesson,
And run to the father's call?
Who can battle, not losing strength?
Who triumphs with an army of the weak?
Who gives words unto the shy?
And confidence for when they speak?
The challenge of living life
Is accepting to live a challenge.
Understanding right and wrong
And striving to find your balance.
For every failure, a success.
A correction for all mistakes
A challenge to see it through
And gain the patience it takes
To ask for help whenever needed
And stand alone without a choice.
To give a praise for every blessing
And suffer with the same voice.
For every race has fallen short
And still risen from the ashes
So don't complain because life
Is a challenge....
