Drowning tears

Drowning tears

A Poem by O Bubbly_snowflake *

Stop these tears that flow,
falling into a deep sea below.
Threads of emotion left to grow,
each laced in strands of silken snow.

Slowly I feel my frail heart shred,
as the reasons remain left unsaid.
Every tear  falls on the path ahead,
staining my heart with pain left to spread.

In this sea, please let me die,
drown me, before I fly too high.
Take me away from tears I cry,
Before I ask for the reasons why.

As the truth fades, the tears still remain,
leaving the pain to evolve to its own restrain.
Clinging to my heart, my tears flood into rain,
hopeless and numb, I'm left with piercing pain.

I'm lost and alone, my hands are tied,
I'm still attached to the tears I've cried.
I see the end, I close my eyes in pride,
Even though it wasn't enough I still tried.

I wish to be devoured in this raging sea,
Maybe then I will soon be set free.
I leave my heart with you, and leave in glee,
Drown me, please, my final plea.
