Time

Time has been quite the annoyance to me recently, this is just something Ive thrown together.

Time

Time can be your best friend
or your worst enemy

Time does what it wants
and what time wants
is usually the opposite of what you want

If you want time to stay
so that you might enjoy the moment you are in
whether it be talking to a loved one
or just laying around, enjoying the simple act of doing nothing
it runs away

And when you want time to leave
because you are tired of waiting
it crawls at a snails pace
it ensures that you feel every second pass ever so slowly

But if you always spend your time hating the time you have
annoyed at how short or long certain instances feel they have lasted
then you cannot enjoy any of the time you are allowed
which is one of the biggest mistakes you can make
because we are all allowed only a certain amount of time in this world
and if you are not enjoying it
if you are not living your life
not using the time you are allowed to use freely
simply letting it pass you by
then time will run you six feet into the ground
without you even realizing it.

ha ha..seems like you are really irritated with time! lolz! Nicely written! I too have something to say about time...check out the poem "An Autobiography of Time" in my profile.....this one too was "inspired" by the tricky concept of time.

i like this poem a lot. it flows well too and i don't see any grammar mistakes
