Autumn

Red, yellow, brown leaves under my feet.
Hop to another one, crunch.
The sound makes me giggle.

Cold wind upon my face.
Hoodie up, sleeves down.
My soul shivers with delight.

Hot coco, warm coffee.
Hands wrapped around the mug.
Warmth spreads like fire through my veins.

This is why I love forests, Sunshine is great but in autumn all of your senses get attacked and a walk through the forest can bring you and the world back to life.

I have a love hate relationship with Fall, I love the colors and all the wonderful things that go with Halloween but I hate the cold & living in Michigan doesn't help. Ramble over, I really like this. It brings back memories from childhood and you capture a lot of what fall is like for a lot of kids, when things were simple.
