Just Another Loner

I know I'm not making much sense...

I love you.

Don't get me wrong.

But I can't depend on anyone

To help me go on. 

I wish I could say differently,

But I don't need you...

If you were to die right now,

There's nothing I could do. 

I couldn't bring you back. 

I wouldn't sit and rot. 

I would simply sit and breathe,

Permanently lost in my thoughts. 

It's better than being too attached,

To be lonely all of your life?

Your fears can't come true

If fear is where happiness resides?
