Love is death.

Love is death.

A Poem by xxxrawr_friendxxx
"

I can imagine someone reading this in Rob Pattinson's voice, slightly failing at doing an American accent like in the first Twilight. XP

"

Love is death.

A venomous bite,

A poisonous kiss.

I feel you seeping through my skin,

Your scalding toxin creeping through my veins.

You carress your way around my body,

Over and over,

Never stop.

It hurts so good,

Burning.

Love seems like an eternity,

Though we grow older every second.

Not as strong as you used to be,

Your touch becomes colder,

My veins begin to frost.

The poison is strong,

The pain overwhelming my mind, body, and soul.

With my last loving breath,

I give into death.

Thank you! :D I really appreciate it!
Very sentimental piece, also like the appearance in terms of the shape. The words spoke to me.

I like the topic and sentiment of the piece. Critique wise I echo the previous reviewers thoughts about "it hurts so good".

that line "it hurts so good" sounds sorta weird. I understand it, I think it just needs to b re-worded

Thanks mate :D
And this site does NOT criticize. I'm a moderator on a few other site that actually improve and not just flatter you. PM me if you're down. I have a long list. Lol.

Nix the title and the first line. It is your poem's thesis, humming in the backdrop. Let the reader imply it. It's beautiful otherwise.

I love how love is portrayed in this piece, how it is a venom that slowly grows powerful and is going to devour you in the future; but you willingly offer yourself as a sacrifice. Great job.
