Gone But Not Forgotten

written for someone who touched my heart

The time came and went, then left me behind

I can't go a day without you crossing my mind

Some days are good, others are rotten

And although you're gone, you are never forgotten

I still remember your eyes, and how they shined in the light

The feel of your skin when I held you that night

The time we went walking, and you held my hand

And the way that I felt like the luckiest man

Then the memories fade, and my small smile drops

I try so hard not to miss you, but my heart never stops

You took my guard down, leaving me unprotected

Then sent in you're love, and my heart got infected

So where ever you go, and what ever you do

Just know that I'll always be thinking of you

And I hope that some day you will think of me too

So don't think you're forgotten just because you're gone

Because in my heart luv, your memory live on
