An Elephants Dilemma

Just a bit of light relief, written quite a while back after watching a movie about an elephant.

How do you know there's only one person for you? 
There could be a million or quite a few,
How can it be? just one out of all,
Surely you need more to catch you when you fall,
I don't want someone frigid or old,
I want someone to keep me warm when I'm cold,
Now how is that possible? I need more than one,
Basically because I weigh over a tonne.
