Faded Love

Waiting on someone who used to love you to figure out if they still do.

I see darkness closing in arond me
I'm an animal waiting for my slaughter
Hope is what keeps me alive even as it kills me

Powerless to to save myself I sit and wait
For the inevitable day when I'll know my fate
The darkness is coming closer

If I could I'd escape this cage
But I'm chained to the pole
I know I can't survive
In order to live I'll have to die

The darkness is coming closer
There's almost no light left
I can't escape
The darkness is coming closer
It turns black

First time ever writing something like this so I dont expext much, just needed to let out some pain.
