Morning Reflections

Morning Reflections

A Poem by PANTHER

Morning has broken in place I've been before
Extending sweet temptation's hand open up the door
I know what is for I have been that is why I'm here
Reflect but for a moment travel on then without fear

For to say that we would undo what it is that we have did
Is to say our super ego has suppressed our basic id
Reality does tell us that this could not be so
Be the natural course then nowhere would we go

So as we move through living life we know that things must change
Relationships accommodations we review and rearrange
If we seek in retrospect to change from what we've learned
Then what we learned would not be and things remain the same.

Growth can not happen without change regardless of how hard that is to handle. So often we'll just maintain the status quo, because it's the easy route to take - but where does that get us? Back to square one with no progress made. Great thoughts and poetry, Tom.
