The Right Path

The Right Path

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello

Pristine perfect?  No life could be!
Broken dreams and promises,  is the Reality.

Our own Choices mark the journey we tread
We can make of our Past mere shredded thread,

And woven perhaps with angered hands
Bitter knots and loops we misunderstand.

Sometimes in the fray we look out for blame
And Responsibility,  we never knew that name.

When Darkness has eaten our soul and heart
Grown tendrils of Hate,  Violenc starts.

Such is the  outcome of distorted molds
For children must be shaped, guided, and told.

Whatever we walk,  they will surely follow
If we teach them the Right path, that's where they go.
