Angel Or Demon?

Angel Or Demon?

A Poem by CreativeCookie

Angel who sings, who writes and who reads

Who blessed me enough to grant all these things

Demon who knows, who reveals, who conceals

Who cursed me enough to force all these things

I stand in a room, my Angel come visits

A song that I sing, a word that I write

I speak with others, my Demon comes in

A word that I say, a look that I give, I'm the loner this night.

A gentle word, a quiet embrace, an understanding gaze

My Angel comes out to help me wipe tears from another's face

Blunt honesty, my opinion out loud, no holding back, I ignore the crowd

The Demon comes in to sow cords of disdain, leaveing me in only a few's good grace

I speak words of comfort and wisdom, quoteing God's word

My Angel appears, helping me assist my spiritual sisters

A sarcastic quip, a witty tounge, sharp as a two-edged sword

My Demon dosen't fail, together we invite glares and wispers

It's not done, but I've been trying to find a good ending for over three months and I'm outta luck. So, you get to read the unfinished poem! Pretty much it's about the fact that there's an angel and a demon inside all of us. Well, that's all I've got, so, what 'cha waiting for? Tear me down!
