There is no luck

There is no luck

A Poem by Charlee Richards

I kissed her.

I kissed her, and in that kiss, I relinquished all of me.

My crippling fears washed away by the warmth of her nature.

I allowed my lips to fall.

A murmur, suggested to be unheard;

"how did I get so lucky"

Without hesitation, a statement that echoed in my consciousness;

"There is no luck, I'm just yours"

A very positive write that pulls no punches. No doubt about love here. Good poem and a relationship to be!

Spot on inference :) Thank you for the read and the review
This is pure sugar, so sweet. The ending works so well, both through the way it responds to the earlier dialogue and how it ends the narrative voice's neurotic analysis, introducing calm. Great stuff, keep it up!
