Once a stranger

Once a stranger

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

Its almost been
A year since when
A beautiful girl
Decided to take me for a whirl
The first to say hi
To look me in the eye
And love me for me
Allowed me to be
Happy and carefree
Opened my eyes to see
That true beauty exists
You just have to wait out the mist
Teaching me patience
Her love forever contagious
Calming my storm
By changing the norm
Its hard to believe
To even conceive
This girl who saved me from danger
Was once a stranger

I'm just a regular guy. I like writing short letters and poems describing my emotions. I can be intense, whether it's positive or negative. I seem to suffer from insomnia alot. more..
