Doll

It's about a doll and her friend.

My apathetic stare,

Always facing straight ahead.

Directly in my line of sight,

Is my one and only friend.

My limbs are so heavy,

And I cannot move.

I am unable to do anything as my friend begins to cry,

I am forced to watch her express her deep sorrow.

I yearn to get up and comfort her,

But I have no strength to get up.

She rushes over to me and scoops me up in her arms,

Then she begins sobbing into my shoulder.

How I wished I could hug her back,

But I can’t.

She pulls away after a long while,

And grabs my dangling strings.

She moves my strings to an imaginary beat,

Forcing me to dance.

After a few silent moments,

She starts to pour her heart out.

While all I can do,

Is helplessly dance and listen.

There’s nothing else I am able to do.

By the time she has finished her story,

She is completely enraged.

She has had enough,

She roughly wraps her fingers around my small body,

And throws me at the wall with all of her might.

I hit the wall with a violent resounding “THUD”,

Bouncing off the wall and landing harshly on the hard wooden floor.

As I lay discarded on the floor at her feet,

My empty eyes can only look up at her.

She is the only thing I have to live for,

The only thing I am living for,

Because I am her only friend...

...

I am her toy.

I wrote this a LONG time ago....I don't know why....I HATE dolls *insert shudder here* Creepy freakin' things.

Haha thanks!! Yeah...dolls....evil freakin' things. Blame my random spurts of imagination for this one. Though I'm quite proud of this one....I think it's one of my more well written pieces.
