Staring out at dry and barren fields;
I could've been studying my own inner reflection.
One question on my lips
When will it rain?

I like this little poem. It says so much in so few words. Makes me think of farmers praying for rain because their life depends on it or someone sitting on their porch looking out across the barren fields. Great images for a short piece. NH
