Yeah, Ya'know Like Totally

"Yeah, ya'know like totally" is what I hear,
It's like nails on a chalkboard to my ears.

It is an ugly utterance that is regularly spouted,

How I dream of the day we will live without it.

Unfortunately it is only one of its kind

These words of the vernacular that grate my mind.

 

It’s joined by “Yeahno”, “YOLO” and “Swag”

The regularity of these words makes me gag.

And what people don’t understand,

Is that not using these words makes you a man.

It is a plague of the world that has no cure,

But I will do my best to make all pure.

 

You see these idiots who think they’re hip,

And we’re all “Stupid fools who don’t know s**t”

Well to those individually I have to say,

That you are the fools who are going to pay,

You’ll have no future if you don’t find your way,

But I have no time for you, so have a good day.
