Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
Wet Paw

Wet Paw

A Poem by Cacho

I'm tired and cold
My eyeball is hanging out the hole
But I can't hate the kid
That throw me that rock

My paws are wet
My tail is ripped
I wish a human could realize
I'm a living being

Some of them give me sad looks
They say I need shelter and home
At the end they only wish me good luck

I'm scared of you
But I'd love you and follow you
If you give me some food
Don't mind if you are rich or poor
I just need some piece of love

Please take me home
I won't pee on your floor
I'd your company
Listen to the stories you never told

You can hit me spit me
Say I'm a sack of bones
But I won't hate you
Rancor doesn't resembles on my soul
But you didn't love me
How I wish I was never born
