Part II

Part II

A Poem by Cae

you're too afraid of my saltwater waves
burning your self-inflicted cuts
got yourself in a rut, confused, skin bruised
from words you've pounded into your brain

i am your antidote, biting at your throat
devote yourself to the goddess
let her honeycomb fingertips caress your lips
don't bite at the poison in your heart
don't let yourself be tricked by the demonic
it's not a cure to be platonic

set your soul alive and join forces with the gods in hell
we're not all monsters here
there's nothing to fear - drink the love spell
so sinfully sweet
let its blood drip from your fangs
so bright red it'll burn your eyes
let it sugar coat your lies
