Grandbaby

Grandbaby

A Poem by Celeste Hayne
"

I wrote this poem upon receiving the ultrasound from our oldest daughter.

"

Our first grandbaby to be,
Born from compassion and love,
Is a miracle of Mother Earth,
And from Heavens above.

We saw your pictures today,
the tiny hands with fingers,
Such a wonderful feeling,
That lingers and lingers.

The ultrasound sends us
the shadows of you
the delicate features
are still so brand new.

In your tiny silhouette,
you are waving to us,
we can hardly believe it,
and make such a fuss.

The Miracle of birth
here in six months from now,
the baby is growing,
miraculous and wow.

With perfection in the making
the little bundle of joy
our grandbaby to be
precious little girl or boy.

We love you.
