Earthenia

Earthenia

A Poem by C>C

Sometimes I look up to the sky in its over burdened blue

And wonder why it takes to a sudden grey hue

And even though I know that pollution is the cause

It feels as though it is truly my fault

For she is my mother and by truly she is

for she protects me from harm with her angled winds

And  I feel her affection as her fingers run through my hair

And I see her destruction that others deem unfair

But her children forget that all is hers

And mark her body with their curse

They forget all the good and love that was given

And grieve  in their hate when she retaliates

Always forgetting they schorched her hands

And with no way to speak other than whispers and nips

Her rage is forcen to be rather lashed

They degrade her morality and blacken her sight

Seeing only of her desperate plight

Until its to late they notice the cause

And even then they take not a pause

For children are greedy, spiteful with naught

Oh pitiful children do you not see her fate

That mother of ours gives all she can plate

Yet even then you take no heed and harm her with your destructive greed

She shall like all else you've touched

But this time you can't replace

For she is but only one face

And this mother can never be  replaced

About
Um... I love reading, so I thought hey why don't I write my own story. I've never really written anything before and that's probably why any stories I write might be a bit awkward :D I have a cat and .. more..
